how it works

01
install once
Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. No account required. The extension never sees your browsing history — content scripts only run on the 15 sites listed above.
02
open a page
Any movie, album, book, game, show page on the supported sites. A small card appears in the bottom-right with the title it detected and three tones: savage, honest, hype.
03
hit "judge it"
rankd opens the full verdict in a new tab — real score, real tier, real opinion. Share the link, download a card, keep browsing.

rankd is public on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Install it once, then judge IMDB, Letterboxd, Spotify, Goodreads, Steam, Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, TMDB, Last.fm, Bandcamp, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Audible, MyAnimeList, and Kitsu without switching tabs.

the fine print

what data does the extension see?
The only thing the extension reads is the URL and the page's <meta> tags on the 15 supported sites — just enough to figure out what you're looking at. No keystrokes, no history, no cookies, no request bodies. Nothing is sent anywhere until you click "judge it".
does it work on private tabs / incognito?
Only if you explicitly enable "run in private / incognito" in your browser's extension settings. By default it stays off — your private browsing should stay private.
will more sites be added?
Yes. The roadmap order is roughly: Discogs, Criterion, Vudu, Hulu, Disney+ title pages, Crunchyroll, itch.io, GOG, Epic, Bookshop, Open Library. Ping us on Twitter if something's missing and we'll bump it up.
is there a paid tier?
The extension itself is free. The full rankd experience (Pro tier — longer verdicts, more daily cards, no daily cap, battle mode) lives at rankd.voiddo.com. One card per day on the free tier is enough for most taste-checking.
why would i want this over just reading IMDB reviews?
You wouldn't — for the 20 movies you already love. You would, for the 500 you're unsure about. rankd is calibrated to say "this is a BRONZE you'll have fun with" or "this is a LEGENDARY you'll be thinking about in a year" without 14 paragraphs of plot summary.
