1. Introduction

These Terms govern your use of rankd ("the Service"), operated by voiddo. By accessing the Service or creating an account, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

rankd is an AI-powered media-rating service that generates one-line verdicts and tier ratings (COPPER → LEGENDARY) for movies, TV shows, books, games, music, art, and more. Verdicts are produced by the proprietary rankd AI v1.2 engine, which runs on top of enterprise inference infrastructure provided by sub-processors disclosed in our Privacy Policy. Output is the engine's opinion, not a statement of fact, and may contain inaccuracies.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to create an account.
You provide a valid email and choose a password (minimum 8 characters).
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We are not liable for unauthorised access caused by sharing your password.
One account per person. We may close duplicate accounts created to bypass limits.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our merchant of record. Paddle handles taxes, VAT, currency conversion, and chargebacks.

Pro plan: $4.99/month or $49.99/year (yearly saves ~$10 vs paying monthly), billed in advance.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account dashboard or the Paddle customer portal.
Prices may change. We will notify existing subscribers at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.

5. Free Tier

The free tier provides up to 2 verdicts per day at our sole discretion. We may adjust the free-tier limit at any time. Free-tier usage is rate-limited per IP address to prevent abuse.

6. Fair Use

The Service is intended for personal and small-business use. The following are prohibited:

Automated scraping, bulk verdict generation outside the documented API.
Reselling rankd output as your own AI service.
Using rankd to harass real people, defame public figures, or generate content about minors.
Bypassing daily limits via multiple accounts, IP rotation, or referral self-attacks.
Reverse-engineering, scraping, or attempting to extract our system prompts.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate fair use without refund.

7. AI-Generated Content

Verdicts are produced by an AI and reflect the model's opinion. They are not professional reviews and should not be treated as authoritative.
Scores and tiers may vary between requests. The same input may produce different output.
We do not guarantee accuracy, factual correctness, or fitness for any purpose.
You retain ownership of any titles or queries you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process them for the purpose of delivering the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The rankd name, logo, website design, and codebase are the property of voiddo. Verdicts you generate are made available to you for personal use, sharing, and embedding via our public widget. You may not republish bulk rankd output as a competing rating service.

9. Data and Privacy

Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy. Read it before using the Service.

10. API and Extensions

If we publish an API, separate API terms apply. The rankd browser extension is governed by these Terms plus the rules of the relevant browser store (Chrome Web Store, Mozilla Add-ons, Edge Add-ons).

11. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. Scheduled maintenance, upstream outages (the AI inference sub-processor disclosed in our Privacy Policy, Paddle, our owned mailer), or rare incidents may cause temporary unavailability. See our Refund Policy for prolonged-outage credits.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, voiddo's total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profit, or reputation arising from AI-generated verdicts.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing support@voiddo.com.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, with refund handled per the Refund Policy.
On termination, access to verdict history ends. Data is purged within 30 days (billing records retained for legal/tax compliance).

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel, except where local consumer-protection laws grant you a different forum.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email and a banner on the homepage at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
